Artist's Comments

This is based on pictures of historical clothing. I'm rather proud of how the drapery came out on this one--I think it looks somewhat natural at least.

I enjoy your technique. It reminds me of france for some reason. ^_^
Draw more picchas of Victorian women in big poofy dresses and corsets! I like 'em!

FAQ#247: How do I get a lot of pageviews?

P.S. I know this lady isn't Victorian. She looks more colonial.. But you get the idea! 1785! 1913! Suffrage! I don't know what I'm getting at with this...

I'll try. I don't draw anymore. These pics are things I did years and years ago, before an evil art prof made me feel so bad about it all that I gave up. I haven't drawn since, 'cept for the coloring I did for ya.

Well keep doin' it! practice practice practice (And sometimes art professors can be arrogant dicks) and don't listen to what others say (unless it's constructive criticism)

I like all the folds of cloth. It's a very stylized piece, very pretty. :) I like the little details of the gather at the shoulder of the sleeve, and all the crossing folds at her front, where the lifting of the skirt causes them.
